What is Easter to you?
Is Easter simply that one day of the year when you get dressed up in
your “Sunday Best”, attend a church service, have brunch with your family,
and return back home to “everyday living”?
Or is it more?
Yes, all of the above are fine and dandy, but Easter is much, much more!!
Easter is the time of year when we need to recognize that our Lord and
Savior gave his life so that repentance and forgiveness of sins may be
preached in His name. It is the time of year that the church that you and I
know today was given life. Ultimately, Easter is the time of year when we
need to understand that one man gave His life so that you and I are able
to exist today, and hopefully one day in the Kingdom of God.
Please help to show your understanding of Easter by supporting Jesus’
Church by making His sanctuary beautiful for the holiest time of the year.
How can this be done?
Quite simply!
All you need to do is sign-up to pay for an Easter flower or two.
An Easter Flower may be paid for In Memory of / Honor of: by signing the
Easter Flower sign-up sheet located on the bulletin board located near the
rear entrance of the church.
If you are unable to sign-up in person, it is welcomed and encouraged that
you contact the church office at (440) 885-3222 to place your support.
Last day to sign up is March 21st, so please sign up soon!!
**To pay for your flower all you need to do is enclose your payment in an envelope
marked “Easter Flower” and place it in the offering tray or mailing it to the church**
